The Spring Lake First Aid Squad was formed in the summer of 1928. The squad was formally incorporated in the spring of 1930, as the second incorporated squad in the country.

The Spring Lake First Aid Squad is always looking for new volunteers. Training will be provided to all new members – we look forward to having you join us!

The Spring Lake First Aid Squad

consists of a group of volunteer EMT-Bs, ambulance drivers, probationary members, and cadets. The EMT-B course is 220 hours long and prepares our members to administer basic life support for a variety of emergencies. To stay fresh, EMTs are required to take continuing education courses and recertify with the NJ Department of Health every three years.
